Love, Rosie (Where Rainbows End)

The whole book is written in a mail/messaging/email format and I think it’s so cute. “nothing sadder than meeting the right person at the wrong time”, seem like the meaning of this quotem the story started with Rosie and Alex, when they’re still so young. Rosie and Alex grew up and studied until high school together, it was all that at first. They’re just being friends and funny and cute. Before ending highschool, they’re far away from each other because Alex went abroad, however they still kept in touch. Since things happended later, Rosie got pregnant. She lost her dreams for college, her dream to work or own a hotel, and she became a single mother and shouldered all the hardships alone. But Alex never left her. Alex still cared for her even if they’re far apart. Like the name of the book “Where rainbows end”, after misconceive, they met again and realized that “you’re the other half of mine”. When I read that, I swooned, I felt sad, happy, excited, pissed, hurt, hateful and I was so frustrated through out the story, it’s a really weird mix of emotions. For me, this book is just so hauntingly beautiful, I recommend if you want to read a love story with the happy ending.
