Bamboo Ark brings together a collection of contemporary bamboo buildings from across the world. These buildings have been selected to showcase their particular design based on location built form and structure. Bamboo is a re-emerging material and there are limited design and technical books for bamboo when we compare it to other established materials such as timber steel and concrete. Delivered from the perspective of an architect who has immersed designed built and lived in bamboo buildings this book provides a how-to reference on bamboo architecture to further promote the use of bamboo in design and construction.
